Ring Size Chart & Guide
We’ve compiled everything you need to know to get your correct ring size comfortably at home, so sit back, grab a drink and a cozy spot, and we’ll show you how!
Request a Ring Sizer
There are many paper and plastic ring sizers out there, but they often provide inaccurate measurements. This can become a headache down the road, requiring you to resize your ring right away. Save time and energy by getting it right the first time. Order a real metal ring gauge to measure the size of your finger as accurately as possible, and check out our sizing tips to help you get it right!
Find Your Ring Size
When you get your ring sizer in the mail, start with a middle size and try the rings on until you get to one that feels right. There are whole numbers and numbers followed by dashes, which indicate half sizes. (We can also make your ring in a quarter size if you are between sizes!) The correct size should slide on easily and fit snugly, but not too tight. For many people whose knuckle is the largest part of their finger, it will just take a gentle twist and tug to come off over the knuckle.
Ring Size Tips
When sizing your finger, there are a few things you can do to ensure the most accurate fit.
Aside from using an accurate tool, you can also take a couple of measurements throughout the day. Our hands tend to vacillate in size based on temperature, humidity, and activity level, so try to size your finger when your hands are at room temperature, if possible, and keep in mind that seasonal changes are possible.
Wider bands will fit more tightly, while thinner bands will be looser. Our standard ring gauge will work well for most engagement rings and wedding bands, but if your ring has a wider band, let us know, and we’ll send you a sizer with wider bands, as well. This will help you get a better size! (Stacks work the same way, so size up a little if you plan to stack up your rings!)
Warranty
Our rings come with a two-year warranty that includes one free resizing. To request warranty work, just fill out our service request form. We’ll send you a repair slip and shipping instructions so you can get the ring to us. We’ll cover the repair and the return shipping!
Our warranty also covers cleaning, polishing, rhodium plating for white gold rings, and the replacement of accent diamonds.
Ring Resizing Policy
Our two-year warranty includes one free resizing within that period. However, not all rings can be resized, and there are limits to how far a ring can be adjusted. To find out if we can resize your ring for you, contact us–we’d love to help!

Ring Size FAQs
Certain rings, like eternity bands, cannot be resized at all. Other rings, like intricate pavé designs, may be able to be resized a little, but not a lot. To find out if your ring can be resized, just reach out to our team!
Our warranty is good for a full two years, so if you haven’t had your ring resized yet and it is still in the warranty period, we would be happy to resize it for you. (You just pay to ship it to us, and we’ll take care of the rest!) It is normal for fingers to change sizes over time, so it’s not uncommon at all to need a size adjustment at some point. We make it as easy as possible, so you can get your ring back on your finger where you can enjoy it!
Yes! If you find you are in between two half sizes, we can make your ring in a quarter size. The drop-down size selectors on each ring product page have quarter-size options for you to choose from.
For women, the average finger size is around 6. For men, the average finger size is closer to 9. Taking all genders into consideration, the average adult finger size is around 7.5. This can vary widely, however.
If it is not a surprise, you can order a ring gauge to get the right size at home. If you are going for a surprise, it may be a little more complicated! You could ask one of their close family members or friends or borrow their ring and trace it onto a piece of paper if they already wear a ring on that same finger.
