You can start with our simple design form or book an in-person or virtual consultation on our website. One of our team members will respond with a quote or options based on your request, along with a projected timeline for customizing your own engagement ring. They’ll be available to answer all your questions. Once you decide to move forward and design your own engagement ring–online or in person, we require a deposit of half the purchase price upfront before we begin the computer-aided design (CAD) work for your ring. This allows us to secure your diamond, if applicable, and dedicate our time and resources to your project to give you the personal attention you deserve.
3 - Review Your Renderings & Make Any Necessary Changes
Once we’ve fleshed out all the details of your design, you’ll have the chance to look over full 3-D renderings of the design from multiple angles. At Taylor Custom Rings, our renderings are photo-realistic and include hand shots, so you can gauge proportions. You’ll also receive a stunning animation that brings the ring to life. This is the moment when you can make sure we have every detail of the design just right. When you customize your own engagement ring with us, revisions are free (up to five) because our goal is to create your ring exactly how you want it to be!
4 - Approve Your Design
Once you approve the design, we will handcraft your ring to your specifications. We go to lengths that not all shops do to make sure your ring is heirloom quality and made to last. And to ensure safe delivery, all of our rings include free fully insured two-day shipping (signature required). In the meantime, you’ll get weekly updates so you know when your ring is on track to be finished. Once it’s done, we’ll let you know the good news (and send a photo or video, if you’d like!), and you can take care of your final payment. Then we’ll ship the ring right to your door!
6 - Insure Your Ring Using Your Free Appraisal & Count on Us for Resizing or Maintenance Needs
But our relationship doesn’t end there! When you customize your own engagement ring with Taylor Custom Rings, you’re covered by our two-year warranty, so you can know that we will be there to help you with cleaning, polishing and any other maintenance issues that might arise. Your warranty also covers one free resizing during the warranty period. We will also keep your design on file, in case you want to add to your stack later on with a custom wedding band or two.
